It wasn’t like America didn’t have many ‘friends’, like he’d call them, but he decided he needed someone to be by his side for a while. More like, an ally. And he certainly thought of the perfect person along with it.
Of course, no one would guess that the American would walk around in casual clothes at perhaps, 5 in the morning with the slight interest of making a new ally. There he stood in front of a certain familiar house, with a cheeky grin spread over his face and hands placed on his hips. Stepping closer, he reached to open the door, fingers pressing gently against the knob, only to receive nothing.
Was this a joke?
He tried again, this time pushing harder. Seeing it didn’t work, the American only became even more stubborn and took few steps back, before launching himself completely at the door, breaking it with a slight loud noise.
“HAHAHA-You naughty thing! That’s what you get for standing out to a hero like me!” He couldn’t bother to keep his voice quiet.
Being too proud of his succeeding, he wasn’t actually aware of the fact that he –still- had that door attached to his arm. Rushing upstairs, he entered every single room, until he found the right person. Unfortunately, they were sleeping.
America had some trouble shaking that door off of him when he finally noticed it, as he rushed by the other’s bed and started to shake him. “WAKE UP! WE’RE GOIN’ FOR A RIDE!” He announced, cheerfully.

And it wasn't like Canada to be sleeping at five in the morning. Oh wait, it was. When the door was crashed, he was too tired to really move, or figure out what the noise was. The Canadian snuggles back into his bed, and fell asleep in the matter of seconds. Unfortunately seconds, was the time it took the America to find his bedroom. And get the door off his arm.
Matthew was about to ignore again, before he heard the voice, and then the shaking. He opened his eyes, and saw his brother right there. He screamed, the loudest he had ever screamed in a long time. He had long started to lock his doors in fear of being dominated by stronger countries, but maybe he should have considered a metal door.
"Alfred!" he screeched, heart racing. The poor northern country looked absolutely terrified. To wake up to something like that. But he had to gather himself up. Alfred had done crazier things. Like using a real gun in a game of cops and robbers.
"Alfred, what in the world are you doing here? It's give in the morning. A ride? What..?" he managed to at least make the sentence make some sense. The shaking stopped, now that he was awake, and the Canadian got a moment to gather himself.

America tilted his head to the side, leaning slightly closer to him. “Eh? Are ya alright?” He asked, reaching to poke his forehead. “C’mon! It’ll be fun!” He said, the grin staying in it’s place as he reached to grab the smaller nation by his arm and tug him out of the bed.
Maybe he scared him or something, but he never really thought of such things. At least he thought that he shouldn’t jump into the details that fast, so driving around the town should be fine for now.
“Get dressed, Mattie!” The American said, more like ordered, the excitement in his voice rising by each second as he even flailed his arms, searching for any source of light. Once he found it, he turned it on, getting a better view of his little brother, blue eyes scanning him intently for a second.

Matthew was a bit more confused than scared now. It was his brother, so whatever was happening, they were both pretty safe, right? He shook his head, and was about to protest. But lights were turned on and Alfred rushed him. The younger took a moment to hiss at the light, and then try to cover his bare chest up as he ran to his closet.
He didn't know what tow ear. It was so early, he didn't even know what was happening anymore. But the Canadian threw some jeans onto himself, and a thick red hoodie, knowing it's quite cold outside in early morning. Once he had finished that, he ignored Alfred's protests to hurry up and went to brush his teeth and hair, to at least not look like a zombie to his own people. Wait, would any of his people be AWAKE?
"Alright, Alright..I'm done.." he said quietly. Well, quietly compared to America. "Can you at least tell me what you're on about?"

America tried to be patient and give his brother time to get dressed, but heck, few minutes passed and he was already loosing it. The young nation started to whine and walk around after Canada, peeking inside the bathroom. Brushing his teeth, seriously?
Stuffing his hands in his pockets, he watched him move around, taking his time. Maybe this would be harder than he thought. God, it felt like eternity until he was ready, so Alfred decided to go downstairs and look through his fridge for food. As soon as he thought he found something he would like, he went back upstairs, munching with slightly annoying noises.
“Don’t worry about that Mattie!” He said, between munches, as he patted his chest and smiled widely at the boy before him. “Or, is it that you don’t want to spend time with me?” He asked, giving him ‘the guilt’ look. That could work on anyone, even him.

It took a moment for Canada to realize the silence, and look up at America's guilt-tripping face. The younger squirmed a little. "Don't give me that face. You know I love you. But it's too early.." he reached to his twin, and pinched his cheek. He was not going to be at fault for this. It wasn't his fault he SLEPT like a normal person, and Alfred came barging into people's houses.
Speaking of that..They walked down to the front door. Well, it WAS the front door. "Alfred, you need to put the door back, or replace it. Someone will break in, and then you'll never see me again." this was the simplest way to explain it after all. "And you do know you could of rang the bell, instead of barging in?" but he couldn't get himself to scold the American more than that. He knew him too well. It was just America.

America squeaked at the sight of the pinch. He most likely didn’t expect such an action coming from his brother or something. Blinking a few times, he took few steps back and looked at Canada with a childish expression. “It’s not that early! Look the sun’s about to rise!” He informed, pointing out.
Once they were downstairs, America laughed nervously at the sight of the broken door and just picked it up and slammed it back into its place. “I’ll fix it later! Now let’s go, go, go!” He cheered, as he stormed out of the house, running a few before pausing to turn around and wait for his brother.

Matthew decided to let it go. He couldn't stay mad at Alfred for long. Alfred will begin to whine and cry at him. And he hated to see his brother sad, whether it be real or fake. It hurt pretty badly.
But when America began to run, Matthew's legs barely remembered how to run. But he caught up. "Now what did you want to tell me? You usually just say it the moment someone wakes up. Unless it's important. Than you stretch it." He knew it all too well.

Sometimes it was a huge advantage how his brother knew too much. But America tried to put that away, focusing on the main subject. How was he even going to express himself? He insisted that him and Matthew would firstly go and buy some food, since he woke up that early and didn’t even eat anything beside what he found in his brother’s house.
As America got whatever he needed, they stopped by a park and sat on the bench. The young boy forced himself to look at the other, taking a deep breath. “Mattie, we’re bros…I mean, friends. Y-You’d help me no matter what, right?” There was a hint of hesitation in his question.

Matthew bought himself something to nibble on as well, to keep his stomach from growling. Even it wasn't used to waking up this early. But once that was taken care of, he sat next to the American on the bench, and watched him, a little wide eyed.
"I don't see how that relates to anything, but yes of course..I mean, as much as I can. You're the world power here, I'd think you'd want to protect me.." he smiled, very shyly. Truthfully, he didn't like negative emotions showing on Alfred. It didn't fit him. "But yes, I'd protect you the best I can.." he nodded.

He stopped munching, as blue orbs stared intently at the other. "Really?" He asked, feeling as if his day suddenly got better. Well, ignoring the fact that he had few crumbs around his mouth, Alfred grinned widely, reaching to take a sip from the juice he had both. As he did so, he kept glancing at Canada.
"Would you become my ally then?" The question was short and direct. Maybe his brother didn't expect that, but he decided to say it without any sort of hesitation. In his mind, he pictured that was the way a hero would ask for help. But aside of that, he bit at his lower lip, waiting for a reply.

Canada really wasn't expecting that. The question though, made him nervous. "I guess..I mean, I don't think I can say no." an alliances between the two should of been natural. He wondered what made Alfred scared enough to want to make SURE Canada helped. Or was it the other way around?
"But Alfred. Why all of the sudden?" he didn't want to be pushed into an unexplained alliance. Even if it was with his dear brother.

His eyes widened, staring blankly at the boy before him. He'd do that...for him? The look of surprise was replaced soon enough by a wide grin, as he threw everything around him. "WOHOO!" He cheered, as he jumped and spun around several times, in a childish manner.
Stopping in front of Canada, he tried to hide the fact that he felt a bit dizzy. "Why? The hero needs friends too! We could catch villains together! Like Batman and Robin!" Definitely, he needed to stop reading American comics.

"But I'm not a hero.." Matthew said quietly, forcing Alfred to sit back down. I'm not a world power, either. Just a middle power a-and I'd be very useless if someone strong attacks you and.." he let out a sigh. "But alliance is alright. We both benefit." he decided.
Canada was generally a very friendly country. He didn't have alliances, but he got along with nearly every other country. The younger still didn't see why America wanted an official alliance. But it was fine. It was hard to tell what Alfred wanted out of things, sometimes.

America tilted his head. Did he say something wrong? Did he do something? Well, perhaps he expected a different reaction or something. "But you can be a hero with me!" He said, reaching to ruffle the boy's hair with a wide grin. "It'll be cool'n'stuff! " He assured him, nodding confidently.
Alfred was optimistic. He thought of several countries that could become his ally and he wondered if it would actually work. Well, it was a good start to know that Canada was there, ready to help him no matter what. "We should celebrate with video games and such." He suggested, suddenly.
